The Green School Medallion is the highest honor bestowed by our School. It is awarded to individuals whose outstanding contributions and career embody the Green School’s mission of advancing a more just, peaceful and prosperous world by fostering global engagement, driving social impact and/or advancing academic excellence. Recipients demonstrate exceptional leadership, commitment to public good and impactful contributions that promote dialogue, mutual understanding and positive change across societies. It is both a celebration of impact and an invitation to inspire the next generation of leaders.

The medallion bears the butterfly — a symbol of transformation, resilience, and purposeful evolution. It represents the belief that institutions, markets, and societies must continuously adapt to meet the demands of a changing world.
