Bio

Lourdes Espino Wydler is a partner at Marrero & Wydler, a civil litigation firm. She represents government agencies, elected officials, public employees, and corporations in state and federal court. Her trial and appellate practice concentrates on employment law, civil rights, administrative law, and premises liability. She has obtained multiple reported defense dismissals and summary judgments. Lourdes Wydler was recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine for consecutive years as a Rising Star in Florida under 40 years of age. She is also a featured writer for a quarterly industry magazine.

As an adjunct faculty member, Lourdes Wydler brings a practical and legal approach to classroom learning. She is a cum laude graduate from the University of Miami School of Law in 2003 where she served as the President for the Moot Court Board, an honorary organization, and was a member of the Editorial Board for the Psychology, Public Policy and Law Review. She also holds a Master of Arts in Criminology from the University of Toronto and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 1999 from the University of Maryland in Government and Politics. Lourdes Wydler began her career working for the U.S. House of Representatives.
