Joel Carton
Bio
Joel D. Carton earned his PhD from the University of Oregon in 1999. Prior to joining FIU, Joel held faculty positions at Texas Tech University and Oberlin College, where he taught courses in macroeconomics, microeconomics, international finance, comparative economic systems and econometrics. His area of research specialization is macroeconomics, and he is currently interested in models of expectation formation, the Phillips curve, monetary policy, and macroeconomic dynamics.
