Tamara Rodriguez is the Co-Owner of Island TV and CFO of Fatima Group. Island TV is a Miami-based television network with over 25 years of experience delivering news and entertainment programming. Reaching more than 400,000 households in South Florida and broadcasting across 15 Caribbean Island markets, Island TV also connects with millions through its expansive digital platforms. The network plays a crucial role in educating, informing, and engaging Haitian and Caribbean-American communities on civic, cultural, and political issues.
Fatima Group is a family-owned enterprise with diversified operations across the hospitality, media, and shipping industries. With her father serving as Chairman and her uncle as President, the Fatima Group owns and operates four hotels in northern Haiti, manages shipping logistics between Miami and Haiti, and oversees port operations in the historic city of Cap-Haïtien—a city deeply rooted in Haiti’s revolutionary history. Tamara plays an integral role in continuing the family legacy of fostering economic development while promoting Caribbean culture and civic engagement through media.
Tamara holds a bachelor’s and master’s in accounting from the University of Miami.
