In the News: FIU Economics Undergraduates in Fed Challenge Competition

We are thrilled to congratulate our economics undergraduate students on their first-ever participation in the nationwide College Fed Challenge. As this marks the inaugural appearance of our FIU team in this popular competition, we commend their initiative, preparation, and readiness to engage with complex macroeconomic issues in a national forum.

The College Fed Challenge is an annual nationwide competition in which undergraduate teams from U.S. colleges and universities analyze U.S. economic and financial conditions and deliver a monetary-policy recommendation, mimicking the role of the Federal Open Market Committee. 119 schools participated In the most recent edition.
