Bio
I am mostly interested in issues at the intersection of epistemology, ideology, and power. Currently, I am especially interested in how the Anarchist tradition addresses the role of power at the confluence of free inquiry, democratic governance, and culture. My dissertation concerned how the classical Anarchist tradition dealt with, and parsed, “intellectualism” (as a concept and social phenomenon). I teach a variety of courses on the history of political thought, political ideologies, and democratic theory.
