Jade Rodriguez
Bio
Jade Rodriguez Perez serves as a current senior at the Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Political Science with a minor in International Relations. She holds certificates in National Security Studies, Law, Ethics, and Society, and Pre-Law.
Jade serves as an undergraduate research assistant for the Jack D. Gordon Institute at FIU, where she supports the Security Research Hub (SRH). Her research focuses on the People's Republic of China's (PRC) activities and engagement in Latin America and the Caribbean. Additionally, she has conducted research on the PRC's investments within the LACC energy sector.
Before her current role, Jade worked as a paralegal at Deluge Doctors Restoration Firm. She led the litigation department, managing legal claims related to water mitigation, mold remediation, tarp installation, and flooding restoration services for South Florida homeowners.
