Bio

Alfredo Riverol holds two Master Degrees from Florida International University; Master of Public Administration and a Master of Science in Taxation. He is a lifetime member of the FIU Alumni Association. Mr. Riverol is a Certified Public Accountant and licensed in the State of Florida. His other credentials include Certified Forensic Accountant (Cr.FA), Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), and Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA).

In 2013, Mr. Riverol was featured in the South Florida Business Journal as one of the best and brightest young professionals under the age of 40 for his professional success and community involvement.

Mr. Riverol is an adjunct professor at Florida International University specializing in Public Budgeting and Finance. In addition to his teaching activities, Alfredo at times is requested, nationally, to speak on the topic of Finances in Public Administration. In 2010, Mr. Riverol was selected as the Chief Financial Officer at the City of South Miami. Alfredo is an active member and participant to multiple organizations; American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Government Finance Officers Association, Florida Government Finance Officers Association, S. FL Govt. Finance Officers and City Clerks Association, Association of Government Accountants, and American College of Forensic Examiners Institute. Currently, Alfredo Riverol is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Government Performance and Accountability Committee (GPAC).
