Bio
Charles A. M. Jones obtained his BA in History and Political Science from Florida International University (2010). This was followed, in a much colder environment, by an MLitt in Modern History from the University of Glasgow (2011) and a PhD from the University of St. Andrews (2018) in Scotland. His research interests include transnationalism, kinship, and inter-monarchical networking. At FIU he teaches Modern American and European History. He is currently working on a monograph exploring the dynastic ambitions and working relationship between Albert, Prince Consort and his eldest daughter, Victoria, Princess Royal and Crown Princess of Prussia.
