Bio

Dr. Hollander is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Global and Sociocultural Studies at Florida International University in Miami. She is the author of "Raising Cane in the 'Glades: The Global Sugar Trade and the Transformation of Florida", "Securing Sugar: National Security Discourse and the Establishment of Florida's Sugar-producing Region," in Economic Geography, and "Agricultural Trade Liberalization, Multifunctionality, and Sugar in the South Florida Landscape" in Geoforum.
