Bio

With over 32 years of law enforcement experience, Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Troy Walker is in command at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s (FDLE) Miami Regional Operations Center.

SAC Walker joined FDLE in 1997, where he was assigned to the Tampa Bay Regional Operations Center, investigating economic crime and public corruption cases. Prior to SAC Walker’s current assignment in Miami, he served in many capacities: Assistant Special Agent in Charge (second in command), Special Agent Supervisor and the Resident Agent in Charge of the Clearwater Field Office. SAC Walker has handled domestic security, counter terrorism, threats & targeted violence, human trafficking, officer involved shootings, public integrity, complex economic crimes, mortgage fraud, prescription drugs/narcotics, major illicit drugs, organized crime, gang, gun violence, and money laundering investigations.

SAC Walker currently oversees all operational, administrative and special program functions for the Miami Operations Center. He is responsible for a four county (Palm Beach, Broward, Dade, & Monroe) region and interfaces with all local, state and federal law enforcement, and both non- law enforcement public and private sector entities.
SAC Walker holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) and Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Florida A & M University.
