Mariana De Paz-Rincon is a driven and accomplished professional with a diverse background in criminal justice and a passion for public service. Throughout her career, she has taken on various roles, gaining valuable experience in different sectors of the field. She has embarked on her professional journey by working as a private investigator, legal assistant, intern for Miami-Dade Police Department Homeland Security Bureau, and as a student office assistant for FIU’s Communication Sciences and Disorders.

She completed her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree at FIU, both for criminal justice degrees. She is very excited to begin her role as a Prosecutorial Policy Research Coordinator for the Jack D. Gordon Institute for Public Policy and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
