Oscar de Armas

Bio

An experienced educator and legal professional, Oscar de Armas holds a Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from the University of Florida. As a social studies teacher at Coral Gables Senior High School, Oscar specializes in International Baccalaureate curriculum, with a pass-rate above the global average for over a decade. With a diverse background including legal recruiting and public defense work - Oscar brings a global perspective and passion for education, having studied law internationally and traveled to over 50 countries. He has taught Criminology and Intro to Criminal Justice via FIU's Dual Enrollment program since 2020.
