Advising

Individual Advising

Due to PLATO's limited staffing, we are unable to provide individual advising to students until they are in the process of selecting law schools. Prelaw students should attend the open and free workshops to get basic, general information about law school, personal statements, and resumes. Students should also visit the LSAC.org website and become familiar with the information available there. You must assume personal responsibility for familiarizing yourself with the information on the prelaw website and the LSAC website.

NOTE:

If you are NOT a prelaw certificate-seeking student and are interested in applying for law school, you can consult with an academic advisor (including our prelaw advisors) through SIPA's Virtual Advising. Below you will find further information regarding dates, times, and the Zoom information needed to access the virtual advising.
