FIU Pre-Law will host a series of events throughout the Fall 2026 semester designed to help students explore law school opportunities and prepare for the admissions process.

• September 23, 2:30 PM – Florida Law Schools Fair (In Person)
  Meet representatives from law schools across Florida, learn about admissions requirements, and have your questions answered in person.
• October 22, 2:00 PM – Personal Statement Workshop (Virtual via Zoom)
  Learn how to craft a compelling personal statement that highlights your experiences, strengths, and motivation for law school.
• November 19, 2:00 PM – Financing a Legal Education (Virtual via Zoom)
  Explore scholarships, financial aid, loans, and other resources available to help finance your legal education.

The event will take place at Florida International University’s Rafael Diaz-Ballart Hall, Law School Atrium, 11200 SW 8th St., Miami, FL 33199. Students are encouraged to RSVP in advance here.

Day in the Life: Commercial Litigation Attorney (Virtual) – October 15, 5:00 PM
Curious about what it’s like to work as a commercial litigation attorney? Join Tania Varela, Esq., an attorney specializing in commercial and civil litigation for a virtual Day in the Life session.
