Joseph Sinicrope serves as a Task Manager under the DOE-EM grant, and manages the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security portfolios for the Applied Research Center (ARC) at Florida International University. He comes to the Center with tremendous depth and a wealth of leadership experience. Mr. Sinicrope served as an Intelligence Officer with the United States Marine Corps for 22 years, and was honored and privileged to command and lead organizations at various levels across the globe, to include Iraq, Afghanistan, the Horn of Africa, Japan, Korea, SE Asia, and South and Central America as well as the Caribbean. He has extensive policy and strategy experience within the US Government Interagency on a wide array of security and defense related issues. Additionally, Mr. Sinicrope has served as the Project Lead for several multi-million dollar efforts in the acquisition and implementation of technology solutions designed to address complex, whole of government problem sets. He has consulted for private sector companies on executive leadership and organizational development as well as business development, and possesses a Business Administration degree from the University of Virginia and an Executive MBA from Florida International University.
