Financial Aid

We're Here To Help

The Master of Arts in Global Affairs is a market-rate program and is not state-funded. As a result, the state tuition waiver for state employees does not apply.

Students are eligible and encouraged to apply for loans, scholarships, and fellowships. Information on financial aid can be found at FIU OneStop/Finances.  For assistance with any specific questions, please contact the OneStop Office at 305-348-2126 or stufinan@fiu.edu.

If you are considering participating in an employee education assistance program through your employer, please verify eligibility with your organization’s Human Resources department. Information on third-party billing can be found at Collections and Third-Party Billing.

Please note: FIU does not approve tuition waivers for State of Florida, non-FIU employees.

We recommend determining your funding options as soon as you apply to ensure a smooth financial planning process for your studies.

Students can apply for different types of federal as well as private/alternative loans available from a variety of lending institutions. Additional information can be obtained from Florida International University’s OneStop.
