Join the Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs for the first in a series of roundtable discussions on the impact of Fidel Castro's death on the internal dynamics in Cuba, including economic impacts, political freedom and social relations.

Expert panel featuring:

  • Dr. Eduardo Gamarra, Professor, Department of Politics and International Relations and founder of the Latino Public Opinion Forum, the first university initiative in Florida to study the impact of Hispanic voters on U.S. politics.
  • Dr. Guillermo Grenier, Professor, Department of Global and Sociocultural Studies; specializes in labor, migration, immigrant incorporation and the Cuban-American community, particularly in Miami.
  • Dr. Martin Palous, Director, Václav Havel Initiative for Human Rights and Diplomacy and Senior Fellow, Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs.
  • Brian Fonseca, Director, Jack D. Gordon Institute for Public Policy, technical expert for national security and foreign policy.
