This information is for newly admitted, transfer students who have an Orientation Hold and were not able to register for one of the Orientations offered through the Office of Orientation and Family Programs. For continuing students who need general advising, please attend Drop-in Advising.
The Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs offers you the opportunity to attend one of our group advising sessions to remove your orientation hold. The group sessions are advantageous because they allow advisors to go into more detail regarding the major, policies, and resources relevant to you here at FIU. You will have the opportunity to ask an advisor any questions you might have, remove your hold, and register for classes.
This is the final opportunity to remove your Orientation Hold for Fall 2022. Students who have not been able to remove their Orientation Hold by this date will need to defer their admission to Spring 2023.
