Workshop for foreign language teachers and professors presents and examines research presented at the October 2009 VIII SIPLE Congress in Brazil. Discussion focuses on Portuguese as a foreign language and the development and enhancement of effective language learning environments, new technologies, distance learning, pedagogy, and student/teacher interaction. Led by FIU Portuguese professor and LACC Faculty Associate, Augusta Vono. Free and open to all educators, but registration is required.
